Canceling my 2015 Lariat and going to wait for a 16!

Ford Sync 2 is based on Microsoft Windows Embedded Automotive. Sync 3 will be based on the QNX OS . Chrysler's uconnect is based on QNX and is generally rated highly by automotive journalists (versus Ford's Sync) for ease and reliability of connecting smartphones, modern user interface etc.

2016 will get Sync3.
2017 will get the new gen 3.5EB and the 10 speed auto.

Or could be just more torque?

If you wait until 2020, there will be a 1/2 liter engine, 23.4 speeds and Sync will argue with you.

I'm going to wait to order a '16 too. If I ordered today I can't see it coming in until March/April. Then, when the '16 comes out in the fall, my truck will be a "year old" already - even though it will actually only be just a few months old. Possibly by then some of the little quality irritations people are having with their trucks will have been eradicated. I can see something like the Sync being updated for '16 but I don't really expect any big changes like a different engine or transmission. But who of us civilians know?!

Where are you guys hearing there will be a new 3.5L in 2017? Its very possible this new 'high output' 3.5L coming in the Raptor is only for the Raptor unless you guys have read something else? I'm not saying there won't be improvements by 2017 just haven't seen anything saying that engine is coming for the entire F150 lineup.
