Our truck was in the show room when we bought it. 2015 lariat screw sport 502A package Window sticker from factory was $66,450. Dealer had added a few options with included a box liner, 2" front level, and wheel liners. We managed to get them to give us $36,000 for our trade in which was a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. We also had them add weather tech mats, brake controller, tinted front windows, tonneu cover and took $600 off for extended warranty. When everything was said and done, we ended up paying just over $ 27,000 taxes in.

I think you are crazy to use a line of credit. I'm assuming you are talking about one secured to your house at a rate of 2.75 percent at best. If you pay 60K, you are paying 1500 plus in interest per year. They offer '16's with 0 percent for 72... in the end you will likely be very close to even if you buy either... but have a truck one year newer. If things hit the fan and you can't pay, you will lose your truck if you finance through ford, or lose your house if financed against it! I believe multiple sources of low to no interest is safer than one source hedged with the value of your home

I know. Just hate it when the dealers seems to be charging the 2016s that much over more than the 2015s. Wish Ford can offer 0% financing on the remaining 2015. In the end, I still save money by getting the 0% financing, but a chunk of my saving goes to the dealership...

Yes you subtract all incentives after that. Ie 3750. 1000 costco. Also with x plan im not sure if they are allowed to charge admin fees. If you have trade in look at canadain black book on line. Remember canadian dollar down. All good used vehicles are being shipped across boarder

Yah, absolutely no used units worth buying for a 250 km radius. The dealers have some chutzpah to be selling all this inventory into the States when they objected so strongly to Canadians shopping in the States a few years ago. The local Ford dealer is actually calling owners of 2013-2015 trucks and offering to buy them back because he can buy them for C$35000 and sell them for US$35000. The mph speedo costs him $800, apart from that he puts the whole exchange difference in his pocket.
Just a small remark on using your HELOC instead of factory financing:
When I run the numbers on a heavily optioned XLT that goes for mid-$40s and my $14k trade, I find that the "0%" financing is actually 5.27% financing if you consider that you don't get the $3750 cash purchase rebate. I am better off borrowing from my HELOC at 3.2%, I save about $1000 that way.
But of course, if you use your HELOC, you don't have that credit available anymore. Sometimes it is better to use manufacturer financing.

2016 XLT FX6, 302a Loaded
I bought mine in Brampton Ontario. MSRP $ 58,000. Paid 43,000 and then put the FX6 dealer pkg on it. Which includes: 6in Pro Comp Lift Kit, 35x12.5x20 Toyo A/T II tires, HD 20in Rims, Amp Power Boards. Put Katzkin Leather interior into it. Out the door $63,000.
Love the truck!!

This.
I was getting the run around from everyone. Finally I told them i had a background in finance, and that they're just getting on my nerves telling me how much my bi-weekly is or would increase. Then the games stopped and i was getting after tax OTD numbers to compare. Had a few from different dealers and went with the lowest. Financing adds a bit of complexity, but at 0% its easy.
