Can you notice a 4 in lift?

Everyone always wants more lift. The advantage to a 4" lift over a 6" lift, is you can still generally fit into parking garages depending on your wheel and tire set up. I went from a 4" to a 6" when I broke some stuff on my last truck. No more parking garages after that lift, but it was worth it for me. I will say that the wife didn't like climbing into it with the higher lift. My mother complains about climbing into my leveled truck now.

Unless height is a problem (like fitting in your garage) I've read repeatedly that guys that did the 4" lift wish they'd have done the 6". Way... more times than not.
Good Luck. Less money to do it right the first time.

I have the 4.5" Superlift and love it. I think 6" lifts look overdone and they make getting in and out more difficult, especially for smaller women, children, etc. I use my truck for carrying stuff so a practical box height was an important consideration. It is certainly not unnoticeable.
If all you want is a monster truck look and don't care about practicality, get a 6". I love my 4.5" and would only consider getting a 6" if I wanted more wheel clearance (the 4.5" just does it with this combo).

No luck tonight on those pics. I completely forgot about it..... must have been the fact that my 9 month old son decided to puke all over me at dinner that caused me to forget lol

Thanks man! The pictures really put it in perspective for me. I've got the same thinking as you. I plan on keeping my truck for quite some time and don't think I'd want it jacked up 6 inches farther down the road. Thanks

You're welcome. One thing to keep in mind about the Superlift 4.5" is it shares most of the same components with the 6" (the main ones being the spindles). You could swap the blocks and strut spacers and go to 6" for very little additional cost. While you would be putting your front end geometry at a bit more of an angle it would probably only be as much as doing a leveling kit from stock. This was another one of the reasons I went with the Superlift.

That's Mr. Tippy to you.
Not trying to highjack this thread as this was a question I had too. I am leaning towards the 4" but wanted to know more about this Superlift 4.5. Is this lift, (quality, build, longevity) comparable to a Zone 4"? Does the Superlift affect turning radius?

I don't know what the Zone is like but I LOVE my Superlift. It is very high quality. I don't think you can really go too wrong with most kits as they're just pieces cast/forged/milled steel.
