That's actually where I was headed with it, but for the HD 8.8 the 4.10s aren't available and I'm gonna buy a reg cab for that and supercharge the heck out of it. And get it with 9.75 rear end to swap to 4.10s

Any idea how to get a better 60'? Maybe a 2.0?

It's 2wd right? is it spinning? If not more launch rpm would be the biggest help or Nitrous,Turbo or Supercharger!!!!Low end Torque or launch rpm or both is what you're lacking IMO if it's not spinning!!!Like i mentioned my 2.001 60ft time was a 4X4 2,200-2,500 rpm brake torque launch.

For those of you that launch in 4x4, as well as locking the rear axle, does the truck stay engaged the whole time, or do you disenagage 4x4 and the locked axle after launching?

Axle will automatically unlock when you get above I believe 20mph.

On my 2011 and 2014 I would put it in 2wd after I launched but it wouldn't disengage from 4 high until I let off the throttle at the end of the track.
I don't know if a truck that has 4 Auto would go back to 2wd without letting off the throttle? I'll find out this spring when I get my 2017 to the track.

That is correct, it can't disengage until load is off.

Yea, i don't have 4wd, so once I'm hitting 2k rpms at launch it starts to spin so I can only get about 1800 max. I haven't tried not stalling on launch at the drag strip but have in a parking lot and seems not to bog down as much. I'll try that next time I get to go.

So it's okay to drive upwards of 90mph in 4H?
