I don't think the fact that I have an '18 cluster in my '16 would matter with the BLIS/CTA working but I can double-check that next week when I get some 2016 8" clusters in stock if you haven't narrowed it down by then. I can still conceivably see that a wiring issue may force that BLIS LED on which in turn could grey-out the BLIS/CTA checkboxes on the cluster.

It might be worth a try using 7C4/7C6-01-01 9B01 xxxx xxxx just to see if that has any impact but I doubt it will.
Yep, have my "4" in both on the door modules. I'm using that to turn off the indicators so I can still drive the truck without the yellow LEDs on 24/7.
What I really need is someone's extra 2015-2016 module to test with. If that works, then we know it's a programming/firmware issue. If I'm getting the same results as the 2018 modules, then I would know I have a wiring issue. I'll see if I can track someone that has an extra one. Also going to do that pinout test Ryan posted on the mirrors/door modules just to see if I can find anything. obvious.

EDIT: I originally used the 9B first with same results, I switched to 1B thinking it might be an issue. No change between either unfortunately.

I've still got my '16 SODL/SODR modules that I can send you to try out if you want? Are you still at the 15802......TX address I mailed the cluster to?

The '16 SODL/SODR modules won't fit in the '18 tail lights, will they? If not, I can send you both my '16 complete LED BLIS tail lights.

As long as you include the module mounting plate they will fit. The pre 18 modules will not fit on the 18 mounting plates from what I understand

You can install the older modules onto the 2018 mounting plate. I just did the 2018 taillight swap on my truck. The 2016 mounting plates will not fit in the 2018 housings.

Yep still here in TX at that address. If you send the modules, I'll swap them, load up some 2015-16 values and do a report out + whatever else you'd like me to test (if they do work). I have all my abt files saved from pre-BLIS programming as well. I'll ship them back out to you when we're all done.

Just messing around... I made an 18ft jumper harness to go from C327 to C405 with 2 twisted pair, terminated with female pins on one end (for C327) and male pins on the other end (for C405).

2nd pic shows the jumper harness with tmcolejr's full write up on exactly what needs to be done. Excellent info.

UPDATE!
Using Livinitup's 2016 modules, I now have fully functioning BLIS & CTA on my 2016 XLT with 2018 Tail lights.
I did not change any of the wiring. All I did was swap the the 2018 modules for the 2016 modules, then code everything for the 2016 modules.

The 2018 BLIS modules will not work on 2015-2016 XLT's non-BLIS

I only ran 4 wires for the BLIS circuit, I did not run pins 6/7 from C405.

Setup:
2016 XLT non-blis halogen (originally)
2018 LED Tails
2016 8" IPC from Lariat
BLIS mirrors w/out tech package
Lariat DDM/PDM modules and harnesses
2016 SODL/R BLIS modules

EDIT: I also saved all my FORScan coding, so I'll try to post that if anyone else needs it later.
