Put the weight in a trailer and the F150 can pull it, might not be able to stop it very well, but it will pull it. That old C65 dump truck you refer too has maybe half the HP and TQ. It will do a hell of a lot better than a uni body Mustang will.

All depends on driver, gearing, trim (platinum is heavier than xl) etc.

Carry on the debate now.

Yep it's pathetic.

But you don't see this foolishness on other threads. GM guys don't foam at the mouth over which Vortec engine is better or Hemi folks arguing with Ecodiesel guys. But here people seem to forget all the engines are Ford engines. Instead of agreeing that Ford has the best lineup of truck engines over all competitors we have to fight over which engine is better than the other. Some would rather say that Ram and GM have better engines than admit the engine they don't support is good.

Here is a guy that has a 2012 5.0 with Roush TVS and Nitto 555 street tires and he ran 11.5 on the first run (he said he had some tire spin) and 11.2 on the second run.

The guy who you were posting about said he does not have a Roush tune and he does have drag tires. So I think its safe to say he'd be quicker than mid 12's.

Here is the video:

I also said “IF” he had the Roush tune...don’t know why that’s so hard to understand.

Where in your video does it say he has the “stock” Roush tune? What it does say is he has a full exhaust with long tubes and a JLT intake...the headers alone means he’s running a custom tune.

You posted what you think his time should be based on what he doesn't have. He does not have a Roush tune.

I am posting what his time should be based on what he does have. He does have a custom tune. And drag tires.

His car should be faster than mid 12's and should be well in the 11's.

8 cylinders... 8 pages.. I am not surprised.

The Sixers usually fight for a good 20 page's

I very clearly said “if” he had the Roush tune. If he doesn’t of course it’s faster. Not sure what you’re trying to prove?
Just like I don’t run Whipples tune because I wanted it faster.
