Cabin Air Filter
I don't recall the manual saying anything about the cabin air filter, and when I look it up on O'reilly's , there's no cabin air filter to be found.
I did see it on RockAuto- it says "with manual a/c" not sure what that's suppose to mean
or why O'reilly's wouldn't even carry them...

But isn't it odd that the manual never mentions a cabin filter let alone to be replacing it every 10-20k ??
That seems awfully strange to me
I'm having a little trouble accessing the filter. I have the glove box down, where do I go from there? Does the wood trim piece need to be removed and then the pocket? Is the wood trim piece held on with clips? I'm scared I'm going to break something!
I understand the wood trim strip is a lieicky to remove without damaging something. Other than that is sounds like a routine replacement. If the dealer only charges $40 labor to replace, it might be worth it if they eat any damage to the trim or clips.
Unlike my 2015 Fusion which requires removal of the airbag on the passenger side.
