Cabin Air Filter
Just completed the 6th change of the air and cabin filters on my 2015 Platinum. Still no damage to the wood trim above the glovebox:

This trim tool is perfect to remove.
Slide tool under the bottom far left, then far right and with thumb on plastic pull back to remove each of the two bottom clips. This should now give you room to get fingers from both hands underneath to disengage three top clips. Yes it seems like something will break.
also high-end trim will have this decelerator gismo. grasp it on this side and close the door to remove pin
inside door pin of decelerator. Pin can be pulled through larger hole to disengage. so can open door and access filter.
