Cabin Air Filter
2016 Lariat SCREW 3.5 Eco 36,xxx
So I went to look at replacing my cabin filter and realized the dealer at some point never put the soft drop arm back on. Made sense since it always dropped when I opened it, which isn't very much.
So I won't to reattached it and the gear popped out and disappeared. Little upset with myself. Can't find it.
Now I need to order one. Is that possible or will I need to order ten other items to get the one? Seen this before where the one part isn't available.
I should have been more careful 😖

Funny, I also found the damper was not reconnected and the glove box was slamming. Didn't break all of the clips getting to the filter but forgot to reconnect the damper...
Yes the damper is available separately. I think you are looking for HC3Z-5806200-B - $28.28.

Went yesterday to buy one from the dealer. At least locally they are -35 in their system. I assume they meant they have 35 on back order.
Will order online and pay less. Sigh. I hate buying online. Really prefer to support local economy - but that is a different forum LOL
Back on track, the parts manager said the filters are just now getting back into stock. The N95 mask rush to fill orders during the pandemic reduced the material to manufacture the cabin filters. Makes sense.

2019 F150 5.0L- I changed my cabin air filter this weekend and found that when it had been previously changed, one of the side clips had broken off of the access door. I was able to get it back on for the most part. But I am having the hardest time finding the replacement part. Thanks for any help.

There are different types of filter compartments. Mine doesn't normally come with a filter but there is a spot to cut open to insert one. You'll probably get better results if you post a picture.
I'd go to a local wrecking yard myself. Probably cheaper and quicker. Good luck. You might put "part number" and "clip" in your title so people that know will know what you're looking for. The title is pretty boring.
