The K&N filter won't catch pollen!

 

Really.. Interesting... I still have my original, haven't changed it yet.

 

My cabin filter after 1 year, and 19K miles, compared to the new Motorcraft filter:

 

Im gonna have to replace mine. Ive had my truck 8 months, 10,500 miles.

 

For the 10 minutes and no stress.... I change mine once a year. Just changed for the second time.

To see how some people react over this is beyond laughable. I'd hate to see how they react to something that really is an issue.

Just got time to change mine today. Exactly 18 months since I bought it.
But again I had no Idea that the F150 had/has a cabin air filter. Heres mine.

 

I love a dirty filter. A dirty filter is a working filter!

 

Here's my filter after 13 months and 20,150 miles . I think I will check again in 10,000 miles . I almost forgot about changing it . This was my first change ,it wasn't to bad . Hardest part was taking the wood trim piece off .I got the old filter out without taking the upper glove box piece off . I just couldn't quite get the new filter back in where it needed to be without taking the upper box off . Next time will be easy.

 

anyone used the Fram replacement with Arm & Hammer baking soda?

Was hoping to have an option for local pickup.

 

Check and make sure that is even available for your truck. I looked and couldn't find a part number for that one. I looked at 4 parts stores yesterday for a cabin air filter. ( O'reilys, Auto Zone, Advanced Auto parts and Pep boys) none of them had the filter and only 2 could order it. So I ordered a K&N for the web site.
