Glove box down, XLT cover removed and pocket still attched
Pocket removed, filter door visible
Filter - part number on it reads:<br/><br/>FL3H-19N619-AC<br/><br/>However, online parts search it shows to be:<br/><br/>FL3Z-19N619-AC<br/><br/>

It's the same filter. The only one available is from Motorcraft as of now.
What's nice is that it stops the dirt/dust before it gets to that nice wet evaporator where it forms mud and ruins the unit.
Don't forget the filter is directional.
The word "Air" should be visible and the print should be up.

Pretty sure the arrow on the factory installed filter pointed down, will have to double check. Looks like the pic in post 11 has the arrow pointing down as well....anyways, these filters are one way, only after they have been used 
The printed words read correctly (weren't upside down), so that's a big indication of it being the correct direction.
The truck is 6 months old, and I'm about to hit 15k. I plan on changing every 10k after seeing how dirty it was.
This brings me to my next mod. I will be cutting the back of the top shelf out to access the cabin filter more easily. I only put gloves and a skull cap in there now, so nothing should fall through. Probably will be another 10k before I do this, but it will be done. FYI, the top tray is only $31 plus shipping if you also want to do this (Tray Part#FL3Z-1504338-AH).

changed mine today at 15,000 miles. Very dirty and full of crap. I will change now with each 5000 mile oil change. Was not a hard job, just not knowing what to pull on to access it. Now I know. I did kind of break the little light switch, I put it back together and works fine. Not quite enough wire to pull the shelf out. Next time I will disconnect the wire. The switch is delicate. If you pull too hard it comes apart in about 4 pieces. 7mm for two screws. Filter cover just pull on the two sides one at a time. The bottom is a hinge point and the cover just pulls off. Like he said airflow goes from top to bottom. -- good luck. I would hate to see what one looks like if you don't know about it and wait a couple of years in a dirty environment. Changed engine air filter also and was pretty dirty. Both filters looked about the same dirtyness. May be an easier way to tell the state of the cabin filter by just looking at the easier to get to engine air filter.
