Ignorance.

I didnt remove top glove box. I was trying to reach around it and snap clips in. Duh!

Thx for the video, had a lot of trouble finding good info on my Volvo but finally figured it out. Had to bend the filter at almost 90° on the Volvo which was not a big deal because the direction of the pleats. They should make the pleats on the ford filter horizontal for same reason it appears. Plan to do the f150 myself next and save another $100.
