A/C out on my 16 with 7100 miles

If my AC went out during hot weather, I'd go right to the dealership and demand it be fixed now, and demand a 2016 F150 as a loaner until it was fixed. And they would do it. That is unacceptable. IMO broken air conditioning in hot weather is pretty much a top priority as it makes the vehicle borderline unusable.

Same thing happen on my new silverado with 400 miles on it. Went out after work on a Friday at 430 in August. I pulled into the dealer at 5, they stayed to look at it and had to get a part from somewhere. It was fixed by 9 the next morning.

Well isn't somebody entitled?
What did people ever do before cars had AC? They must have been unacceptable and unusable right?

You are correct. When I walked to the service counter he says "man its hot out there today" I laughed and said yeah tell me about it. I told him what was wrong and he says damn thats not good on a day like today. We will look at it right away. I never felt upset about the situation and I was treated with grest service.

I'd hate to see what you'd do if the truck actually broke down or something.

P.S. - I had the same thing happen with my F350 when it was about two weeks old. Northern California in August. The compressor was leaking and it lost charge. Took it in Monday morning, got it back Tuesday afternoon, and life went on!
