a/c is good in 2015 16 degrees!

If you used an infrared thermometer I bet you are getting the temperature of the actual vent, not the air coming out. I have a gauge that goes in the vent and gets a reading of the air coming out. I had to get this to prove to the dealer that 50 degree air was coming out of the vents on my 2013 ecobust. I'll put it in my 15 when I get it back from getting the level put on and see what it reads.
I have noticed mine is by far better than my 13 so I would guess the air coming out of the vents will be around 42-46.

If it's at 16 degrees, the evap has to be colder than that. If that's the case, it's going to freeze up. You don't want leaving air temps below ~34 degrees F if you want the evap to continue to drain.

x2.....The 2015 cools even better than the 2013, IMHO! Never had a complaint about the 2013 in Phoenix weather and now up in Prescott....well...cool as you would want it.
An aside, I was so GLAD to find that those infernal cooling fans that jumped to 100% RPMs when over 90-something degrees do NOT do that on the 2015. Sometimes when first starting the 2013 it was like a jet engine on takeoff....really could scare someone in front of the truck when remote start was used. Thank you Ford for fixing THAT in the 2015s!!

Yep. After sitting in the 98° Houston sun all day, it will be comfortable in about two minutes, then has to be turned down as it gets a little too cold after about five minutes. Pretty good considering the volume of air inside the SuperCrew. I do open the sliding rear window and crack the front windows for about the first block, but that's all it takes.

Mine is the same. I set it to 72 on the Auto setting most of the time, and in 95-100 degree temps it barely has to blow to maintain the temperature. Very happy with the climate control.
