Default Buying a new 2019 F-150

Hello everyone. I just sold my 2015 F150 a few weeks ago and I´m planning the new model. I was looking at the current Lariat trim, but cannot decide between the 501a package or the 502a package. Can someone tell me what the real differences are and what will I really miss if I do not go with the 502a. Thank you.

ford.com...go to build and price. that will give you the breakdown of all the package differences. or stop by your friendly ford dealer and they can also tell you / give you a sales brochure.

Go with the 501a. Save thousands. In " MY " opinion the 502a is way over priced for what you get. 501a is a really good package.

This is what I came up with:
• Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats with heated and ventilated 10-way power driver/passenger seats with power lumbar, memory driver's seat, Flow-through Console with floor shift
• B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen
• 18" Chrome-Like PVD wheels (64T)
• 265/60R18 BSW all-season tires (A/S) 4x2 (T82)
• 275/65R18 OWL all-season/all-terrain tires (A/S A/T) (4x4) (T88)
• Chrome angular step bars
• Chrome door and tailgate handles with body-color bezel
• Chrome front tow hooks (4x4 only) two (2)
• Chrome single-tip exhaust
• Chrome skull caps on exterior mirrors
• Grille – Two-Bar with four Minor Bars – Chrome with Painted Silver Surround/Background Mesh
• Heated Steering Wheel
• LED Fog Lamps
• 2nd-row heated seats (SuperCrew® only)
• Power Tilt/Telescoping Steering Column with Memory
• Quad Beam LED Headlamps and LED Taillamps
• Rain-Sensing Wipers
• Windshield Wiper De-Icer

Good advice from other posters to check out the Ford brochure for specific info on what you get with the three 500 level Lariat packages....Don't discount the 500A base Lariat>>>lacks some tech, chrome and nannies the 501 and 502 have but much cheaper .... I wanted 40-20-40 front seats and as few nannies as possible so I went with the 500A in my new '19 Lariat and have no complaints ... drive all 3 and for sure get what you want.....have fun looking!

I have 501a, only thing in the 502a that I really want is the LED headlights. Didn't think it was worth the extra money though.

Thank you guys for your help. I didn´t do anything to my previous F-150 (headlights, lift kits, etc). But I´m excited for the new one. I think I am getting the 501a package, I´m not really missing much on the 502a. What about leveling kits? I think the 2.5 inch kit is too high, do you guys recommend the 1.5 or the 2.0 inch leveling kit?. And again, thanks to all of you.

Mine's getting Bilstein 6112s up front for 2" of lift.

If you're going to give up a 15 for a 19 i would go 502A. Unless you had a base 15 there isnt going to be much difference with the 19 lariat 501. It'll be nicer for sure but once the new car feel is gone you would potentially be in a cleaner version of your old truck
