Default Bump/Slip in transmission when accelerating - 2019 2.7

Took my 2019 XLT 2.7 10 speed with 3000 miles on it into the dealership because of a bump/lag I was feeling every time I accelerate at around the 1500 RPM mark.

I'm thinking the issue has something to do with:
-Auto start stop.
-Adaptive shifting skipping gears in the 10 speed transmission.

Both a tech and the transmission specialist drove the truck.
-The tech said nothing seemed to be an issue.
-The transmission specialist said many people have been bringing their trucks in with this issue and he said that the solution to the problem is a software update that has not been released yet. He also said nothing that the bump/lag is not harming the vehicle.

The loaner truck they gave me was the exact same truck I have just a different color and a few more miles on it. It shifted seamlessly and didn't have this issue.
My salesperson has the same issue with their truck as well.

I believe the software update excuse is just something they told me to make me go away for a bit.

I will probably end up taking my truck to another dealership or contact ford directly to start working up the ladder till I get the issue fixed.

Who else is experiencing this issue with their truck?

I have a 2.7 2019 and mine does the same exact thing. Along with the clunky, hard downshifts. This transmission needs some serious refinement.

Mine just started doing this about 500 miles ago. It didn’t for the first few thousand miles.

My salesperson said hers did it for the first couple thousand miles consistently now it's more intermittent.
I wonder if a software update would fix the issue or if that's just the go-to line for anything they don't know how to or want to mechanically fix.

If it is a software issue I hope to god they hurry up, because it’s annoying. Hope it is software related and not mechanical though.

I wonder if there is another way to describe what we are experiencing. It's really bugging me.

Its called Adaptive Learning (the transmission learning your driving habits) It takes some time try to just leaving it in normal mode for a while,I had to have mine flashed when I first got it maybe there is another Upgrade out there,Go to a different Dealer your dealer should have given you what I just told you know what they don't care and have been told to say Normal and you the owner doesn't take that Dumb *** response.

Left mine in 'normal', seemed to help.

That Adaptive Learning must have a learning disability because every time I accelerate I totally miss second gear. Even when trying to accelerate going as slow as possible. Which then causes that hard shift bump.
I'll keep mine in 'normal' for a while and see if it improves. If not I'm going to another dealer.

Howdy,
I have a 2019 Ford F-150 Super Crew with the 2.7L. Bought it new and I've owned it about a month. I'm experiencing the same transmission issues you'all experienced last June.

Did any you guys get a transmission resolution? Appreciate the information.

So I had an issue where it would slip going from 3rd to 5th, and slip back into 4th. Like a missed shift or something.
Brought it in last month, technician couldn't duplicate the issues, but did update the software. Right away it was noticeably better, much smoother performance and I haven't had a transmission slip since.
