Just finished a 1800k trip to Whistler BC.
Couldn’t help but get some pictipures of the truck along the way

New setup looks good
Whistler is awesome, sea to sky or Duffy way are both really nice drives. They were shooting a Hyundai commercial last time I went through

Finally got my Bilstein 5100’s installed this weekend.
First off off the install if you are mechanically inclined is very simple.
If everything goes well the install is only 4-5 hours doing the install on jack stands.
I set the struts to 1.76” of lift and have a 2” Daystar level (only netted 7/8-1” of lift) as a strut spacer.
This netted me with 2.7” of lift, the upper control arm has does not contact with the springs or have and binding issues and turn to turn full lock the Cv’s do not bind or click.
I don’t need to hear that a guy told you that stacking a leveling kit with a strut is bad, it’s not and your misunderstanding people (stacking 2 strut spacers is bad or over lifting a truck without dropping the diff and doing spindle’s).
The ride is greatly improved and feels more planted and stable without being stiff.
Bilstein has done a spot on job with the 5100 products and I reccemend them to anyone who plans on doing a leveling kit.
More pictures to come soon.

Part 1
Update of the truck as it currently sits.
Got the alignment done today.
The shop said it was super easy to install and the only note left by the mechanic from the drive was that it’s the best driving lifted truck he has driven.
2.75” lift on the front with the rear currently stock.
Cv axels don’t bind and are not at a aggressive angle.
Upper control arms do not have any binding at full droop travels and have no contact with the coils.
The truck is currently sitting 0.5” high in the front and will be getting raised by about 1” in the rear.

Offroading down a cool sand powerline with my new Bilstein 5100’s doing 100km/hr drifting and low jumps, these coilovers are amazing!
