Not sure if mine qualifies. every single time I had it in the shop Id tell them to see if they could figure out the chattering & show them the video which I still have and pictures/videos of everything. Now whether the tech's actually wrote down my complaints or not is up in the air.

---bought--- 12/2017
Was in service a week after i bought it for valves chattering (sounded like), had it for 2 days, couldnt replicate, back to me
Was in again that next week, chattering, still couldnt find it
In 3-4 months later for grinding under the hood, had it for a day- fixed
In for driver seatbelt going bad, tensioner replaced
In again for driver seatbelt going bad, "tensioner replaced"
Right lamp taillight water in housing, replaced

---one year--- 12/2018 28k miles
Backup sensors malfunctioning, giving false warning, dealer couldnt replicate, wouldnt fix
High-pitched electronic noise coming from front & rear of truck, on video, dealer couldnt replicate, wouldnt fix
In the shop for driver seatbelt going bad, "tensioner replaced"
Re-flash of transmission to fix erratic downshift per TSB

Might contact an attorney anyways about it. Hell even paying them 1-2 grand might be worth it. What really chaps my ballz is that I was talking to the dealer earlier, they said even if it showed up again AFTER the 3yr/36 again, Id still be on the hook for it. Some major BS if you ask me. But they're all there to make as much cash as they can.

By the way the original dealer was McMullen Ford in Council Bluffs Iowa. Would never do business there again.

edit- on top of this, the dealer's refused to give me any kind of warranty on the house. even the "discount" they offered still couldnt beat Flood Ford's price.

Nope, I would try another dealer, some are way better at getting things aprvoved for repair, example my son’s ST had a headlight starting to loose its tint, they replaced both, their reasoning if one was going on the car they both would.

You already posted in the lemon law thread. Go to your state’s attorney general lemon law website and see what the criteria is. Most states are 30 days out of service. How many days out of service does your service record show? If you do not meet the criteria, it’s black and white.

Interesting some dealers are more flexible than others. I would have thought all worship at the alter of the al-mighty dollar.

Yeah and I decided to make a thread about it because it got me thinking about it more. Sue me. Maybe I posted here because, oh I dont know, getting input from OTHER F150 owners might actually help a little.

No chance at all. From what I read the seat belt issue is the biggest problem and the tail light and grinding noise were fixed. The other noises and the parking aid sensor wasn't confirmed by the dealer. A problem is not a problem unless the dealer can confirm the complaint. Not saying it's right but it is what it is.

in lemon cases the manufacture pays lawyer fees

Look up steve lehto, he is a lawyer out of Michigan that specializes in this. From what i hear he will tell you if you have a shot over the phone for free!

Depending on your state laws, Missouri we must have the truck in for 3 attempts at the same repair or 30 days out of service. I am having issues with Metro Ford in Independence not documenting the complaints- will be going to another dealer.

For what it’s worth, Louisburg Ford in our area is absolutely top notch.
