I was also looking for a truck with the 2.7 payload package which proved to be a hard find. That will add $700-$800 if I recall correctly.

Very difficult to find, I agree. I got the $695 Tow Package option, but nobody had the payload package within 150 miles of me.

Very solid bang for your buck build! That's a good looking truck.

Makes me wonder when I get a e-mail that take me to a thread that no other person has posted to in two years. Maybe I just don't show up in the forum enough. 31,000 on my 2012 unscratched Lariat. Might even drive it next month.

Just brought home a 2019 King Ranch with a 5.0 motor 4X4 with electronic locking rear diff. I think the gear ratio is 3.19 (?) It has the 5.5ft bed. Not sure what the gas mileage will be but in the end I don't care. It's a truck but rides like a Lincoln compared to my old 2004 SCREW. It will likely take me weeks to figure out all the electronic gadgets. Time will tell!

I always wonder how people manage to come across these several year old threads, especially when their post has absolutely nothing to do with the thread in question.

Known as a thread resurrection, lol. Hey but I can contribute. Got me a no frills XL/STX last month. Unless STX is a frill ...
