Default Brakes

Has any one had issues with vibration when stopping and then when you come to a stop it sounds like something rubbing... I wondering if my rotors are warped I have over 17k miles on my truck I wouldn't think it would need brakes already

Sounds more like the calipers are sticking which in turn creates heat which helps warp rotors. I'd take it to the dealer.

The front rotors on my fathers 2016 are already warped a little and the truck only has 10k on it. The calipers and pads were fine when I checked them out. Mine are warped on my 2014 with 25k. Rather than having the dealer put on more that will warp again were going aftermarket front & rear.

I have done rotors at 25k, 50k, and now need them again at 75k. Ford needs to beef them up a little to police spec.

.
Rotors don't warp, but there are reasons you feel they might.

If you are feeling pulsating in the steering wheel and brake pedal while braking, your rotors are warped. Ford OEM rotors are garbage and lots of guys only get 20k out of them.

Well, like the majority of parts that comprise a vehicle the folks that assemble them don't make the parts.

That includes GM-Ford-FCM. Rotors are quite "common" throughout. It generally comes down to the driver and driving conditions that will determine their longevity.

then who makes the best rotors for our trucks aftermarket? When I was a cop I drove cop cars extremely hard on the street and on the track, never had a problem ever even after having brake smoke rolling out of the wheel wells on some 140mph to 0 stops repeatedly with some times complete brake fade if I pushed it just too far, but never warped them. The rotors on this truck just don't seem up to the job.
