Default Bought a 2015 F150 Maybe I Shouldn't Have?

I just got a brochure for a 2016 and I'm regretting my purchase of a 2015. Maybe I should have waited. Maybe I didn't get the best deal. I just bought a 2015 F-150 for $46K. The MSRP is $56,235. I traded a loaded 2014 F-350 6.2 with 13K miles original MSRP $55,730. Did I screw up?

It depends on what they gave you for the F-350 trade.

Not nearly enough I believe. $40K. Should have gotten $42K. I'm usually good on these things but had a weak moment for some reason. I bought it new for $46K as well. When I bought the 2015 late last month there was a total of $2750 rebate. A-Z price was $49,318 so I got it for less than employee pricing but I think they made up for it on my trade. It already sold and they probably cleared $3K or more on that deal.

im sure they made more than 3k lol. I think you are worried about nothing. You didnt pay anywhere near MSRP, and you got something you wanted. Just because someone may have gotten it for 5% less, do you really care? You shouldnt. 7-8k is what MOST people get off the MSRP, regardless of what you may hear or see as the "online" price. Sure some people get 9-11k off depending, but who cares.

I completely agree. Someone, somewhere is always going to get a better deal. Don't have buyers remorse by worrying about something you can't change. Enjoy your new truck !!

I think you did just fine. Stop worrying and enjoy your new truck. Life's too short to dwell on the past and the "what if's" and "woulda coulda shoulda's"...

Traded the 14 for the 15, now considering trading the 15 for a 16...just be happy with what you got man! No need to chase the latest and greatest every time, you'll never catch up. That's what the market WANTS you to do...take constant losses the whole time trying to obtain the unobtainable while padding their pockets.

I debated waiting for a 16 but the prices are great on 15s right now and the differences are negligible.

They gave me $40K for it which equates to $42K with the tax savings and advertised it for $45995 sold for $43K. Anyway don't get me wrong I like the new aluminum truck. I don't get zapped every time I get out of it from static electricity. I averaged 12.3 mpg on the F350 and it rode really rough of course. Was really overkill for my needs. I'm getting 19.9 in the new truck and it rides great. Ecoboost 3.5 4x4 Max trailer pkg. 3.55 gears. I just wish I would have maybe waited for the sync 3 and the new trailer backup assist feature and of course gotten more for my trade.

Honestly man the sync 3 kinda looks like a lot of hype to me. It might be slightly more streamlined but personally I don't know why some people seem to have such a hard time with the current sync. I found it fairly easy to figure out for the most part.
