Borla S-Type (140618) install - with pics - fixed
Hey guys - for those that followed my thread last week, I bought the Borla exhaust, and when it arrived the tips were not right. They were angled wrong and touching each other - making them rattle. Luckily I live 10 minutes from Borla so I went down there and they cut, bent, and rewelded the offending tip - looks PERFECT!
I know there are several install videos online but here are some pics of the install as well as a couple of sound clips. I absolutely love it!

Do you remember what the inside of that resonator looks like?
I just picked one up from a guy off of FB, and I'm trying to figure out if it is supposed to look the way it does. I was expecting a thousand small tiny holes, instead this one only has a very large hole near the inlet. I can't tell if there is another hole close to the outlet or not.

Nice setup. I love my Borla, I went with touring as I wanted a little more muted sound. My tips are really close too, not touching so I haven't messed with them. I am only about 1 hour from Borla, if I knew they would adjust I would let them...

I believe I figured it out, looks like that really large hole is dead in the middle and it appears that there are openings at the entrance and exit. I believe borla markets their "resonators" as forward mufflers.
