Painted them myself. Used a self etching primer, 3 coats of paint, and 3 coats of clear. They take some force to get off. I popped the bottom tab first, then held it down and pulled up and out on the top. Don't be alarmed if you end up flinging them across the garage, but they came out unharmed.

Hey the door handles look awesome good job, did you plastidip your stock wheels? Hard to tell from the pic.

Thanks! I did plasti dip them. I've used the stuff before on my old civic and it was on there for 5 years, probably would still be but I took it off before selling it. I actually don't mind the chrome bumpers now that the chrome accessories are gone. Here's some better pics.

How complicated was the wiring for lights?

Simple. I tapped the power into fuse #97 and grounded to the bolt near the passenger side headlight. Lights come on when key is turned or engine is running (including auto start).

Pic please? I am handy with many things, wiring is not one of them.

Has anyone does this or know of any pictures?
Here you go. Different year, but colors your are looking for. Mine are blacked out, but I will be putting an actual black raptor grill on and removing the plasti-dip off the bumpers and painting them with rhino lining.

I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow, but the LEDs on the grill chain off eachother so there is only 1 power and 1 ground coming out to wire up. There was another cable grounded next to the headlight so it's easy to spot, and for the power just get a fuse tap from any auto part store. The fuse box is next to the battery and there is a diagram on the lid inside.

Upgrades almost completed.

The chrome delete mod was high on the to do list, along with performance, suspension & brake upgrades.

Replaced chrome bumpers, door handles, tailgate latch chrome piece & side view mirror caps with painted color matched parts.

Removed the chrome side steps, those will be replaced with a set of AMP Power Steps.

The OEM chrome 20" wheels & tires were replaced with the Roush Mickey Thompson F-150 Wheel & Tire pkg.

Also had the chrome tailgate F-150 badge removed and the F-150 front fender badges removed & those fender badges were replaced with black painted F-150 badges.
And I replaced the Ford Oval Emblems on the grille & tailgate with black painted Ford Oval Emblems.

The chrome lariat grille & the chrome front tow hooks were replaced with a black lariat grille & black front tow hooks.

And then added a set of Roush F-150 black fender flares.
