I happen to have a2017 SCrew with the V8, and have the opening like the OP , I have considered doing what he wants to do with his, so reading tru the thread I seen some one say it wouldn’t be a problem switching it out on a truck with the V8? Anyone else wanna chime in , or do any of you guys have a v8 that has the lower grill without the huge opening ? Thanks in advance

Can someone give me a lead on where you were finding the 5.0 lower louvered bumper insert trim panel?
I was looking at the Tasca site and could not find it in any of the trims I looked through.

I went there and only found one. I tried both 5.0 and 3.5 in their search. Both for '17 and '18, 3.5 and 5.0,I found only one at Tasca. I got mine off EBay, it was a take off.

I believe this the fascia you're looking for. It would be for a 5.0 truck. Search the part number to sure. You can find OEM on eBay for $43.00
