Default Bilstein or Rancho?

I have a 2016 XLT SCREW 5.0 4wd that I want to level. I don't really have the money for the Fox 2.0's so I'm considering the 5100's or quickLIFT's. For now I'll be running the stock 20's until I can at least upgrade the tires. Can you tell me which you prefer and why? Also, I'm open to other recommendations

I don't have either on my 2015 but a few years back on our F350's, my bud did a Bilstein setup and I did the Rancho.

The Bilsteins were much better.

Around here from reading a 100 threads or so it seems the Bilsteins have a very loyal following. More so than the Rancho's. For the money I don't think you can go wrong with the Bilsteins.

Hopefully we'll get more folks to chime in.

Bilsteins are about $150 more expensive and a 1/2" shorter too, just something to keep in mind, i know i am.

I could be wrong, but I think the Bilsteins will cost more overall if you are having them installed for you because they use the stock coil. The Rancho Quicklifts are a simple swap.

I had Rancho Quicklifts on my old truck and they were alright for the price. I have no experience with the Bilsteins.

at $380/set, you can't go wrong. You're not out $1000 if you don't like them like some of the packages.

I got Bilstein 5100s front and rear and I love them. Fronts are all the way up. Sits pretty level when nothings in the bed... I'm probably gonna get some blocks still though. I honestly cannot tell a difference in ride quality from stock FX4

I've had the QuickLIFTS and RS9000's installed for a year and have been very happy with them. Ride is much smoother over stock and handles great overall. I had bilsteins in my last Tundra and they were good too, although that truck did not ride near as smooth as this one (probably more the truck than the shock).
