Default Bilstein 5100s out of stock- options???

So I tried to order all 4 bilstein 5100s, talked with them on the phone before I ordered and was told they had them on hand. Today get the box and it feels a little light, only rears in the box. Called mad as hell and was told they are backordered, yea no thats why i ordered from you in the first place.

So now I am looking for other options. I dont really want to wait until Jan for these shocks to come in and I don't want to spend a bunch of money. Looking to level the truck out. I don't really want to keep taking the front end apart multiple times.

Any other ideas on level kits?

Same thing happened to me using Auto Anything!!! They sent only the rears when it was the FRONTS I really wanted for leveling. Said they would not be available until sometime in Jan 2018? I immediately canceled the order. Tried several other vendors without luck.

Oh well I'll just until they are available...... not going to bother installing the rear shocks until I can do all 4.....

You could do a puck level, Fox coils, BOSS coils, or Rancho Quicklifts (that's what I'm running). I ordered all my stuff through Stage 3

Yea i saw a guy selling used fox 2.0 for $600, dont really want to spend more than that. I think he said he had 10k miles on them.

How are those rancho quicklifts? Thats the coil over set up right? net a 2 inch lft? what did that run you?

Thought about the puck until the shocks come back

I love my Rancho's, It netted 2.5" so it's a little nose high but I don't mind. They were around $320 for the set if I remember correctly. I ran these on my '07 and bought them again for my '16.

Do any shocks in the rear? What is your wheel and tire set up?

I've got BOSS/F150Lifts rear shocks. I wanted Fox, but they were on national backorder. Stage 3 cut me one hell of a deal on the BOSS that I couldn't pass up. I'm running 33x12.5 Yokohama Geolandar MT's, and 20x10-19 Hostile Gauntlets. They do rub a little bit even after spreading the crash bars, my friend with the same setup but Nitto Ridge Grapplers doesn't have any rubbing.

One thing I like about the Ranchos is they have adjustable valving in them. On the 04-08's a few years back they had issues with springs sagging, but I haven't heard of that on anything newer. There's a reason I went with them again on this truck.

Me personally I would wait for the fronts, it greatly improved the ride and look. I ordered mine from autoplicity on this site, they were very fast and dependable. They have thread going you may wanna get with them and see if they can get you the fronts.

Ordered mine from stage3 a few two weeks ago and got them in a couple days. Did you try them?
