Guys... what are your opinions on doing the fronts? I've already installed the rears but am now wondering if doing the front will make as noticeable an improvement as the rears did. I hesitate because, unlike the rears, its not DIY (for me) and I'd have to get the dealer to install them. I would imagine it will cost quite a bit to have them do it.

While it is easily four times the effort of installing the rears, you are cheating yourself by not also running the front 5100s. You'll be rid of the nose-dive under braking and your steering will feel more responsive. The truck will feel whole again.

This is my first truck, but I have been very surprised by how well it handles stock.. Feels good in sweepers, must be the long wheelbase. Would be nice if I could try one with the Bilsteins..

I did fronts this weekend, a week after the rears.

Feels right now, steering, braking, bumps and smooth roads all feel better.

Just ordered the 5100 series for the front. Just wondering what settings to put them on. What do you think?
It's not lifted but trying to raise the front just to make it almost even with the rear as to when I hook up my
boat the front won't raise up but be even with the back of the truck. 2016 Lariat super cab 4x4.

I have a crew cab platinum and used the 1.75 setting (second highest with 2.1 being the highest). It is perfect to me, still has a slight rake but looks really good (kind of like an f250) I also put on 1 size bigger tires (275/60/20, the highest I could go with p-rating to save weight and fuel econ and ride). It is just perfect for me.

Can somebody post a pic of the front 5100s? I'm trying to understand how they're height adjustable. Like, the units themselves, pre-install.

Appreciate you posting photos Jerseymike. That's the exact set up I'm going with when my Bisteins arrive. These trucks should come like this from the factory!

There are 5 snap ring grooves that can hold the lower spring perch. Pick a groove and assemble the shock&spring. They are not infinitely adjustable like racing coil-overs with a threaded body.
