Do the bilsteins usually settle? I'm debating on going with a rear block, was wondering how common it is for you to lose 1/4 inch or more after they wear in.
I'm at the the following right now Stock 37” front, 39.5” back and wanted to use the 2.1 inch setting. I'd probably get up to around 39" in the front with max setting, but want about 1" rake. This would probably leave me around 1/2" of rake, so would getting a 1.5 inch rear block or 2" block help? Assuming stock rear block is 1.25. I would gain .25 or .75 in the back with a new block.

You know, as someone pointed out on an earlier post. I went to see my shock setting. I think mine are set at 2.10. Reason being. I see and and can feel the 3 grooves on the shock or what's supposed to be visible. I dont mind if the shop set them at 2.10, that just means I'll be able to run 285/55/22.

So after a month and some towing, I've seen minimal settling in the front. My front is set at the 3rd ring, 1.75 I beleive. The rear has a tapered 2 3/4" × 2 5/8" block in exchange for the factory 1.25"

I was also looking at a 275/70/18, but i was afraid they'd look a little skinny. They would fill up the wheel well much better though. So pros/cons with both setups. I think the 70 would look better looking from the side and 295's better from the front/back. 275s would be lighter/cheaper than the 285 or 295s though. So less cost for the tires and less mpg hit.
I was also thinking the taller 275/70 would be better for winters here in Canada. A taller tire would have better traction than a wide heavy tire no?

You think 295/65/18 tires would fit with the 1.75 setting? (Its a 33.1' diameter tire.) Right now the tires on it are 275/65/18. I was looking at the BFG KO2's, but they only come in 285/65 or 305/65.I don't think you'd see much of a difference in 285 vs the stock 275. 305 would probably rub?
