Just thought I'd throw this out there,

I bought my fx4 lariat new a week ago. The day I bought it I installed 5100s at 1.75. I ended up with 38.75 front, rear unchanged at 40.5. Looked 10x better with some visible rake. Well 3 days ago I hauled 2k of wood in the bed for a few hours. Rears settled to 40.0 and have not changed since. Trucks visually looks level now. Awesome!

Thanks for the input. Stock my front is about 37.5", and rear right at 40". That would put me almost dead level at 1.75" in the front, and if my rears settled like that.

Go 1.75. Visually it looks great and leaves a small rake so you don't need to worry about being nose high.

Are small spacers needed with the 275/60/20 KO2's? I'm wanting the 1.76 setting on 5100's but have noticed my UCA looks to be already pretty close to the factory 275/55/20'S. Wish I could go to 275/65/20 but the stories I've heard about the crash bars has pretty much killed that plan.

Most guys are clearing 275/60/20's at stock height and no level. The 65/20's would have no issue with clearance either especially with a 1.5-2" level.

Here is a better pic from the side, on the highest notch and stock rear height.

My only concern is that may make it nose high because of the camper shell. I guess the nice thing with the 5100's it can be changed.

Got mine installed yesterday, set at max 2.1". I have an FX4 SuperCrew w/ 3.5 EB and 36 gal tank (almost full) and max tow. My rake before was pretty substantial. I was getting a bit nervous about the max setting, but initially still happy with ride. I'll echo the "firmer, but in a good way" comments. I didn't know what that meant before, but it's not a harsh ride.

Driveway has a slight incline (seems to bring down the rear before measurements up to .5" compared to more level garage at work). Don't understand the driver/passenger side difference, especially since the gas tank is more on the driver side, but lift is consistent.

Before:
DR 40
DF 36 3/4
PF 36 7/8
PR 39 1/2

Rake: D 3.25” / P 2.625"

After
DR 40
DF 39
PF 39 1/2
PR 39 7/8

Rake: D 1” / P .375”

Diff: 2.25” both sides same. It might settle down some more over time.

Before Bilstein 5100 2.1"

After Bilstein 5100 2.1"
