I have a 4x4 supercab 2.7. At 1.75 the front is 1/4" lower than the back. I think if you do 2.25 you will be slightly nose high unloaded.

1.75 makes more sense since I seldom load stuff unless I am on long trips

If you're referring to the photo I posted, no. I took that photo when installing the FoMoCo rear wheel well liners. It's the only picture I had handy of the Bilstein rear shock installation.

Unlike the front Bilstein installation procedure where the shock/spring assembly is installed and torqued while the suspension is in full droop (hanging at it's lowest point of travel), the rear shocks' bolts need to be tightened with the truck (and tires) on the ground. All this is according to the instructions supplied with each damper.

I have done it both ways on a Tacoma. The lower mounting bolts go in different, and the top mount is more enclosed by subframe/mount, and the lower control arm doesn't drop as far. There isn't enough room to get the factory strut out like a tacoma.

Apples, did the 5100s raise the rear at all on your RWD?

I did the rears yesterday and there was no change on the measurement .
Now to do the front and lookin for tires.

Rear shocks will never raise your rear end.

You need to bigger blocks or add a leafs or a lifted spring pack

Measured 10 different 4x4 f150's at the dealer ship 2015-2017's

Stock Rear - centre of wheel to bottom of fender 25.125"
Stock Front - centre of wheel to bottom of fender 22.25"

Average difference of 2 7/8" of rake
