Default Bike racks ?

Just purchased a couple of new Specialized Roll Bikes. They are not fat tires but they are in between fat and thin. I’m looking for a good rack to haul them upright in the back of my crew cab (5.6ft) box. Everything I see on line looks good until I start reading the reviews! Please tell me what your using?

I use a rack that I made out of PVC pipe and elbows. Our’s is made for three bikes but you could easily modify it for two. It was a cheap and fun project and for what it is, it works well. But you do still have to strap the bikes in with at least one strap so if you’re looking for something you snap the bike into and go, this isn’t it.

I used Swagman roof racks and built a frame that bolts to the oem tie downs in the bed. The only thing I ever carry in the bed is my bikes so the rack stays in place and is covered by my tonneau unless I need them. I just can’t being myself to use a hitch rack given how much these bikes cost to build.

Clever idea to use boxlink cleats

Retrax Pro tonneau cover and Rhino bars and racks. It goes on/off in a couple of minutes and retains bed space.

Not sure if a hitch rack is an option. I use the 4 bike one from this company and love it. It's the easiest rack I have had to attach bikes to.

Always been a fan of the fork mount, super easy to make and a lot less cost than a full system.

I have a Thule hitch rack, which was used on car before I got the truck. It holds 2 bikes upright and is very secure.

I still have it and use it, but since I ride so often, I find myself just throwing the bikes in the bed and use a Yakima tailgate pad. There are a dozen companies that make a similar or same type product. It's super easy to use and I can throw 4 bikes in the truck easily with it.
