Default Best way to fix a lot of bumper paint chips?

I think there are too many small chips on my bumper to touch them up individually. Is my only other option to replace the bumper? Is there some kind of bumper cover that would be cheaper to replace than the entire bumper?

That's a lot of little chips and getting touch up paint to do spot fixes probably won't look good. I think your situation calls for new paint, new bumper or maybe a wrap job but I am not sure if there is a wrap that would match the factory metallic black.

Sorry I got to say this but...It's why I like chrome. I don't spend time on grave or dirt roads but I just like chrome on a car or truck..

Not the cheapest option but you could Line-X the bumper.

I just dropped my truck off to have a few chips and 2 scratches taken out cost me about 300.
All on the bumper.
Most places give free Estimates.
Someone must have back into me in a parking lot.

Mines white and I'm see only a couple seems to chip easy and after seeing yours I need to check on that clear wrap.

This^^.... or if you want to go the cheap DIY route i used Rustoleum bed liner paint on my XJ's bumper and lower doors.
After 4 years not a single chip, scratch or any fading. That stuff is hard as nails and only slightly grainy and in my experience works great.

I'd guess you apparently drive a lot of gravel roads to get that amount of paint chips.
Getting the bumper repainted the same color, it will only be a matter of time before the bumper is gonna be chipsville again.

With that many, I'd say it's time to have the bumper professionally repainted. Then get some clear bra on it to protect the new paint.
