Best tuners... tuner..?
So I'm reconsidering getting a tune on my 2.7 but for the life of me I don't know who to use. Each one I've called has given me the same story about how they test and test and everyone else does not know what they are doing. I'm tired of the BS, seriously who can really unleash more power from the motor and improve MPGs?
I bought my SCT X4 from 5* for my 02 and was not really that impressed, in fact I'm not sure it did anything. I don't want to waste more $$$ on someone who likes to make claims but won't back it up. If what your top tuner does is so great then they should be ok with refunding if you're not happy..

A custom tune will always have better results than a hand held. My old Silverado was BlackBear tuned and it really woke the truck up. It could have been shift strategy, but more than likely was disabling a lot of torque management GMs puts in its factory tune.

I have a 5.0 recommend SSI or MPT personally. I don't agree with the above statement cause MPT knocked off a little over a full second off my 0-60. I'm down to low 5s launching at 1700ish rpms. Not sure about 1/4 mile yet. With a turbo charged engine like the Eco you should notice a dramatic difference. Either 5 star f**** up or your using canned tunes.
