I also added the Bed Rug on top of my existing LineX. It's kind of redundant but I like that it's padded and stuff seems to slip less. I mostly use the truck bed like a large trunk so main goal is to keep it dry and avoid dust off road. So far I like the combo, will see how long it lasts.
The ROK BLOCK tapes to both sides (bed and tail gate), so you'd have to unstick it from tailgate to remove, hopefully I don't need to do that anytime soon. I think I saw another brand that is only on one side as an alternative. I left it as wide as possible and cut a slight angle to fill in the corners as best as possible. It folds down nicely into the gap when closed.
I didn't install anything on the top couple inches above the rubber tailgate block yet (it's the second step in the install instructions). The gap is pretty big so not sure how effective it'd be. I also haven't installed the velcro to hold down the bed rug since it's not going to fly out with my Bakflip MX4 cover.
I installed the Rok Block, and 1.5 rolls of tailgate seal all around the tailgate. No light coming through, it's even slightly difficult to close the tailgate there's so much seal around it.
Still get water along the crease of the tailgate when going through a car wash. I have no clue how it's getting there. Bedrug is completely dry, except along the crease.
Will the Rok Block make it difficult to open and close the tailgate? I bought a tail gate seal on my last truck and would have to slam it to close. Thank you.

It does not make it any more difficult to close the tailgate than a stock one; it makes no difference at all that I can tell.

Any other tips or tricks? Bedrug starting to get muggy/moldy smelling if I don't leave the tillage down for a couple hours after a wash or rain. No clue how the water is getting in.
