I use a right hand draw G19 Serpa holster with the molle mount. There was no drilling required, and I mounted it using a jerry-rigged screw spacer and heavy duty zip ties. I have a Uncle Mikes mag holder mounted next to it, same method. The gun can not been seen from normal entrance/ exit. It is mounted/centered on the seat, easy to reach, and can be drawn and re-holstered one handed. There is no interference with the electric seat operation either. The holster and mag pouch are each under $50, plus some random nuts and bolts, and zip ties.
My only issue with that is that I don't like the muzzle of a gun to be pointing at a person, regardless of any and all safety features. It needs to point to the ground.

Valid point. I just put people I don't like in the seat behind me

While holstered, the gun has a slight downward trajectory. This can be adjusted to your draw or taste. I figure if I get into wreck hard enough to make my gun go off then I got more problems than a few... I was issued and trained with the Serpa a while back, and have used it under my seat for years. I'm comfortable with its operation and feel like the pros outweigh the cons for this purpose. There is also a full up trauma kit behind the seat...

After getting this it looks like it belongs there, except there is no indicator which can be seen on the dash (I might cut one in it with a dremel, so I can tell on the dial whether i am selecting 2H, 4A, 4H or 4L. It gets to be more of an issue with 4x4 and locking diff. The magnet is strong, it pulls out my locking diff If I pull it straight out, but I like it!

Very nice! Are they the same color as the paint?

November will be a year for the set on mine. It made it through the Arizona summer, soft ball games, and volly ball with no issues.

The key is to prep the surface.

I've been lurking since I bought my '17 in August, but I just made an account to reply to this post. I wanted to see if you could post some additional photos of your mounting method. I really need to find a better way to mount a holster in my truck.

Thanks!
