I have narrowed my truck search down to several options for color. I am having a hard time choosing.

Considering personal preference, ease of maintenance, and resale, what color would you chose from this list?

Black

Race Red

Lightning Blue

Magnetic

Silver

SSowinski

I picked black because I hate the grille and the sport grille in black hides nicely on the front end. Any other color accentuates it.

Resale value is always a funny thing to discuss in regards to a depreciating asset.

With that said, I have owned four of the colors mentioned. When it comes to ease of maintaining a great looking finish, silver is by far the easiest to care for. I would put red right behind it.

Surprised that white was not included, but I understand some see it as too plain. Best of luck!

Thanks. To be honest, resale is lower on my list of concerns, but it is still something to keep in mind.

Two of my friends have white 15+ F150s, so I can't go that route haha.

Had Blue flame, that was the perfect Blue. They replaced it with Lightning blue which is so dark in comparison. I went with Race Red instead. If they had Blue Flame I would have went with that again....

I went with silver because I want to be just like rliles1 when I grown up. I am going to get me one of those silver rolling motels one of these days.

Never get a black truck. Never. It'll "look dirty" pretty much 20 minutes after you wash it, and every single flaw in the paint will show up. Look at all the swirl-marked black cars and trucks you see around.

If you want a good neutral, classy color that never goes out of style, go with silver. If you want a color that stands out and people actively compliment you on, get the Lightning Blue. I've had the truck a month and had numerous random people in public tell me that the color was awesome.

I think that Magnetic is by far the best color for a truck. That Magnetic is beautiful in the sunshine. Pictures on Internet don't do it justice. So I voted Lighting Blue cause my new F-150 is Lighting Blue. (insert smiley face here)
