I have lightning blue and it gets compliments all the time. I think its a much better color than blue flame. That being said, Magnetic is my next choice.

I agree. I never really cared for Blue Flame, but I do like Lightning Blue, just not as much as Shadow Black. lol

I couldn't care much less about color. I bought my last 2 trucks off the lot, and as it turned out, they were the only trucks in my (large) dealer's inventory that were the style (XLT SCab) and had the equipment I wanted. It also turned out that both trucks were Oxford White. That might not have been my first choice if I was ordering from the factory, but it is what it is. I really don't need compliments about the color from anybody. It's a truck, not a status symbol or fashion statement.

I bought a new black car once..... NEVER AGAIN.... I had to hand wash the car at least once a week or else it looked like a worn out filthy rental car.....

Best low-maintenance/timeless/never out of style color is SILVER.... Only downside to silver is hard to match if you have collision repair. If that bothers you, go with white as a close second.
