Default Best Auto Loan Rates on a new F150

I just purchased a brand new F150 and financed through Ford to get the $750 rebate off the price of the truck. Given Ford doesn't have very good interest rates, I'm looking to refinance the loan as quickly as possible.

Anybody know of good lenders who offer spectacular rates to those with excellent credit and do not need gap insurance due to size of down payment?

thanks in advance!

Credit unions usually give the best rates. Although, back in 2013 when I bought my Camaro, Bank of America blew all of the credit unions out of the water with a rate of 1.79%

I was able to get down to 2.69 with First Community Credit Union in Houston.

1.9% @ state farm federal credit union. I used their website and had my local credit union match rates.

I've got a 1.9% on both my truck and my girlfriends escape, financed through Rio Grande CU herein Albuquerque. Bought the escape new and ford gave us 6.5% and when we financed the truck through the CU we refinanced the escape got 1.9% on both. I figure you'll get a better rate on a brand new vehicle.

Wow..1.9. I'm doing the same - Ford for 3 months then refinancing. I got 3% from my CU. Time to research these other options.
