the 5.0 and the 5.4 are two completely different motors with two different sounds. The new 5.0 is much louder and has a tendency to be raspy imo. Otherwise I would have just done the same exhaust as my 5.4 but its not gonna sound the same.

Default best aftermarket exhaust.. NO DRONE??

I just installed a Gibson on my 2015 F150 5.0 and am very happy with the sound. Very deep rasp with some drone in the 2k range but nothing annoying at all. Very happy with my choice.

Borla and Corsa are two of the best. I ordered a Borla Touring cat back with dual side exhaust for my 5.0 KR, plan to install it same day truck arrives...(Ford customer service says it could be as much as two more weeks even though my truck has been at the railyard in AZ for two days and is just 35 minutes from the dealership)

I have the Corsa with resonator delete - no drone - screams when I am heavy on the long skinny peddle, and starts with a definitive growl

Is it ever raspy? All the videos I've seen it and the borla seem to get real pitchy and raspy in higher rpm range.

I recently installed an Aero Turbine AT3030 on my truck. I kept the stock resonator in place to keep it quiet in the cab. Sounds good in my opinion. Here's a clip.

I've never heard of Volant but I think it sounds pretty good, anyone have an opinion on Volant exhausts?

I had turbines on my last two trucks but I always went with 3030xl resonated version and removed the stock resonator. Sounds nice on the new 5.0.
