The tailgate mats from Bedrug adhere just fine... Never had an issue one one we installed and never had an issue from a customer...

I've had 2 Bedrugs and after a year or two the tailgate mat tends to no longer adhere. The solution for me was to take out a few screws in the tailgate panel and then screw them back in THROUGH the bedrug. No more problems.

Thanks.
I had to leave mine in a warm house for several days before it would flatten out.

Yep. I have one in my 2011 also and after 5 years of hauling dirt, hay/alfalfa etc...it still has great adhesion. No reason to think the one in my 2016 will be any different.

I see this thread has been quiet for a while but I need some opinions. I have a linex and am thinking about the bedrug mat. I was always one of those that wondered why people would put a rug in the back of the truck, but they seem pretty durable and I realize now that they are not actual carpet like I thought. Anyway I'm debating which configuration to go with. For those that have just the mat do you wish you had the tailgate cover as well? I've seen a couple sites that have a one piece mat/tailgate combo with the gap cover sewn on. I was thinking of that to maybe help minimize dust being sucked in. Anyone with the 2 pieces have any issues between the bed/tailgate? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I'm thinking the same as you.. My wife and I are both tired of tearing our knees up on the factory spray in liner..

Be nice if the Bedmat came linked together with the tailgate mat..

What other brands are you looking at?

I have sent a email to Truckalter to get his pricing..

Wow interesting I asked them over a year ago for one like this and they didn't make it... Looks like they believed me when I told them they should make it..

Can't wait to see if that big hump in the pictures at the hinge is really like.. Might make sliding stuff in and out hard? Maybe it can be tucked into the gap? But think the step anti slider bracket and wiring will keep that from happening on my truck..

I'm only looking at the bedrug right now. Never really considered it until the other day when I looked at somebody's post and really liked the way it looked. The one piece part number is XLTBMQ15SCS, google it and you'll find several sites that carry it, seems not all of the accessory sites do. I was planning to reach out to Truckalter as well, will you let me know what you hear? I would imagine that gap cover would pull fairly flat with the tailgate down, I would hope so anyway. Wouldn't really matter to me if it folded in or out when closed. Looking forward to seeing some detailed pics of one installed

Hey guys...

Responded to price requests...

The one piece option is nice as far as covering the gap when the tailgate is down... and is about the same price as doing the 2 individual...

Only issue is that right now stock is pretty thin on those and if it has to come direct from Bedrug that usually takes 2-3 weeks...
