Default BedRug install over a factory spray in liner

Anyone install one over the spray in liner? Just bought a 2017 Lariat and have the bedrug from Kyle, he says to just clean the areas with the rubbing alcohol. Want this liner to last, any ideas would be appreciated.

Lots of people have done this. No issues at all.

As long as the areas the tabs stick to is clean, no issues with putting it in. The BR foam backing will settle in over time, and stick very well to the liner. I had the BR in my 2014, and liked it so much I had to have one for the 2016, it was the first thing I ordered for it.

You can call Bed Rug or check there website . I was looking into this and the only thing i found was they recommend an adhesive promoter to help the velcro stick to the bed liner .This is the kit they sell on there website .http://www.bedrug.com/images/pdf/brz...n_bedliner.pdf

Put one in one of my older trucks with a factory spray liner. Just alcohol wiped the tape locations first. Worked just as well as on painted metal. I also used a heat gun, but only because it was around 40* F the day I installed it.

I recommend Truck Alterations. Luke or Kyle will help you out.

We recommend using a 3m adhesion promotor Part number 4298. As long as your applying to a clean surface you will not have any issues.
