Bed rails bowing at front from bed cover?
Folks,
Do any of you have bed rails that are coming up towards the front of your bed from your tonneau bed covers? I have had two 15 F150s and the same tonneau cover (Truxedo Lo Pro QT) and have found the front of the rails lifting a little bit. I have loosened the adjustment screw fully already. Will this bending/lifting be permanent? Suggestions to prevent this?
Thanks in advance!
Mike

I have an undercover flex on my 6.5' bed and noticed the same thing. I didn't see any stress lines or indications of damage. To be honest I couldn't even remember if that's the way they are stock.

Below is another thread that discusses this same issue. I am also experiencing it with my Access cover. I tried adjusting my cover down but unfortunately it didn't resolve it.
I actually had the dealer look at it last week while I was in getting my oil changed. Even though it was purchased and installed there they were not much help and confirmed the Tonneau was the cause...
In order to resolve, I'll probably have to take the Tonneau off and either tape the rails down with some automotive double sided tape and/or make some other adjustments.

Mine are doing this too. According to that thread the fix is this:
The fix ......He had me re-just my rails to 1/8" below rail edge, then
just snug the clamps with out over tighting them. (if you have torque wrench 70-75 lbs.)
