Default Bed length question

I am currently shopping for a new 2017 F150 and want to know if there is something on the window sticker the notes which length bed the truck is equipped with? I am doing a lot of online looking a window stickers and options and do not see anything that marks what the bed size is.

Thank you

The window sticker should tell you the wheelbase of the F-150. Depending on the cab size, the wheelbase will tell you the bed size.

In a crew cab, the 5.5' bed is 145 in. The 6.5' is 156.

Supercab doesn't have a 5.5, but the 6.5 is 145 in, the 8 ft is 163 inches.

Scroll down to Specifications and you can see all the values.

Here's an example window sticker, note the Wheelbase is listed right under the trim.

Enjoy!

Combination of Cab and Wheelbase.

SuperCrew with a 145" wheelbase is a 5.5 bed.

What Cab are you looking for?

vulnox is 100% correct: wb+cab combo will give you the

One thing to mention is you'll likely have a hard time finding the "longer" combinations. The SuperCab 8ft bed and the SuperCrew 6.5ft bed were both rare as hen's teeth when it came to my search. I had to either pick a 5.5ft SCrew off the lot or order a 6.5ft SCrew.

Looking back, I wish I would've ordered instead of picking one off the lot....but I'm not sure what bed length I would've gotten, anyway.

Right. Pretty clear on the window sticker linked to, just need to know where to look:

SuperCab with 145 inch wheelbase is a 6.5 foot bed.
SuperCrew with 156.8 inch wheelbase is 6.5 foot bed.
SuperCrew with 145 inch wheelbase is a 5.5 foot bed.

I am looking for a Crew cab with the 6.5 bed. The dealer said he had two on his lot which I did not think was correct since I know they are rare to find like that. I looked at the web page and pulled the window sticker and it said the WB was 145 so I figured the guy was wrong.

I think I may just need to order one from Ford and wait.

When I was on the hunt, wheelbase rarity was dependant on where the dealer was located. We have 7 Fords in town and 2 of them were in industrial areas, both had about 5-10 157" wb trucks. Even a 302a, unfortunately without hdpp but the 301 and below (including XL) were all hdpp.

The other dealers usually had none, or 1 or 2 XL's

You do know that the online Ford inventory search allows you to specify Cab and Box, right?

No reason to have to look at a sticker.

Ford's site, not the dealer's.

Default 100 mile limit

I wish there wasn't a 100 mile limit on there when you search. It would nice if ford would update it to make it 250, 500 miles.

I'm right there with you. When I was searching that was a huge PITA. You have to change the zip code, and then weed through a bunch of the same trucks that aren't quite right .
