Overall an easy install. My only concern is it seems there won't be any way to seal the tailgate area. There are gaps on each side of the tailgate as well as where the tailgate step is. Seems like water will still find is way into the bed. Anyone else dealing with that?

Mine does not have that issue, maybe loosen the two bolts and try and pull it closer towards the tailgate? I cant remember if there is a way to adjust it.

Love my g2. It's not hermetically tight. I live in az though so no big deal.

I like the cover for sure and I am in no way complaining about the product. I imagine it will still keep must of the water out. The gaps are where the tailgate meets the sidewalls. It's just a bigger gap than I noticed on other trucks like my Ram.

These can help. I just received one for my '13 (Revolver X2). I have not installed it yet though.
