I love the concept of this X2 cover but I am just not sold on it yet. The way the rails sit and look so unfinished on the ends just kills me. I guess my OCD is kicking in here. LOL
If you watch some of the youtube videos on this cover it looks to me when they close it at the end the rails seem to just bend and cave in? Does this do that to you all that own this? Just does not look sturdy or strong... I think there should be less rail and more cover but with the locking system this may not be possible. Also another thing that I see that could be an issue is them two locking flags on each side. I could see me one day picking up some nice furniture for the house and them loading it into the bed and hitting of them and either scratching up the item and or ripping off the locking tabs right off. Maybe it's just the pics but they look to stick out quite a bit???
For my new 2015 I am looking at the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 or the Retrax Pro MX. Just look at the rails on them very fined tuned and looks like it's built like a tank, but of course you are talking from what 765 for the X2 and 1500 for the Retrax Pro MX. You get what you pay for.
Of course there is no prefect cover and I am still up in the air on this and looking for the right one for me. Just two many to choose from.
I had the Extang Solid Fold on my 2014 F150 XLT but gave it to the dealer when I traded for the 2014. Of course I go them to give some money for it...
Shims not needed here you can adj with the set screws on the Retrax.
Rails look very nice on the retrax

Bak Revolver X2 cover with 2015 F150
The rails also stick up wich I do not like. I wanted sleek low rails. I am awaiting the arrival of my cover and will give a review after install

Got home from work last night and to my surprise my Revolver X2 was sitting in the driveway, hoping to get on tonight as long as weather holds out.

Got mine from Morrie and love it. I did have to use the shims as the rails were sitting way to low.
The only difference between this model and previous is the locking mechanism from what I can tell.
