Did you tell it that trailer is not hooked up any longer?

Go into the towing mode screen, and under select trailer, or trailer option (forgive me if that's the wrong label) make sure "no trailer" is selected instead of trailer "x" or default trailer.

I was playing around in the towing menu, and unless you tell it "no trailer" I guess it still assumes you might put one on.
Try this...

I hooked my trailer up today for the first time just to check the lights etc. Was so happy not to hear the alarm system beeping when I backed up the trailer. My 13 continually beeped when backing up the trailer. When I unhooked on the screen it noted the trailer was unhooked and I acknowledged when I saw a checkmark next to ok.

The truck knows your trailer is disconnected, but for some reason you, the driver, has to let the PTBA program know.

Sigh...

The highlighting is Ford's, not mine. Please read my sig (and do it).

Last page of the setup brochure.
