Are you saying that yours does that, and you're looking for a fix? Or you would like yours to?

There's an option somewhere to have it stay on for a short while when you go from reverse to drive, I have that turned on in my 2016.

Just figured it out it went off. Just wondering it went off after I drove a little bit. It's never done that before and I have not messed with any settings.

There is a setting that keeps the backup camera on for like 30 seconds after you shift to drive. It can be turned off in the settings

It has the option to stay on until the speed reaches around 3 to 5mph

Rear Camera Delay
Selectable settings for this feature are ON and OFF. The default setting for the rear camera delay is OFF.
When shifting the transmission out of reverse (R) and into any gear other than park (P), the camera image remains in the display until your vehicle speed reaches 6 mph (10 km/h). This occurs when the rear camera delay feature is on, or until a radio button is pressed.

Depending on year and trim, that setting is accessible either on the radio or on the gauge cluster screen, under vehicle settings.

Mine has a setting "Backup Camera Delay" under settings.

I wish we could activate them at speed - - say to check the trailer!

That delay is fun in the automatic car wash. Pull in, put it in reverse for a second, then back to park or neutral and enjoy the show. My grandkids love it
