To OP, I am interested in your review. I like that it's a clean factory look and doesn't cause any other deactivation. I turn off the A.S.S. button everytime but my wife doesn't when she drives the truck. I would like to idiot proof the truck for my wife and any other drivers. And who ever thinks this is too expensive apparently hasn't seen the add on transmission dipstick tube for about 3 bills.

Technically, the relays and timers simply repeat the same action every time you start your vehicle, relying on the system default. Same effect, but they are not changing any defaults. Nor does this this solution. It simply remembers where you left it and then puts the vehicle back in that state when you restart it, again relying on the constant system default of on. This device isn’t “smart” per se, but it’s the closest thing we have. It certainly has the perceived effect of changing the default, but that it isn’t really what it’s doing. Just clarifying.

I watch that autovlog channel I don't see him doing anything negative by promoting this product as if you watch his channel doing anything with a computer would be beyond his skills he regularly posts videos about his non mechanical skills.
As for the product itself it definitely fits in the market place for people who want it. I am a forscan user and use it for everything but can see why others might not want to use it. That if that autoeliminator cable is a hundred bucks...to use forscan you have to by an adapter from amazon say 40 bucks, then spend at least an hour searching how to use it...which I think for a non computer or more techie person might be way longer of reading the threads on changing codes..... then the stress of using the software if there unsure probably makes the autoeliminator a better buy for some.
But to say forscan is free is not true as you still need to buy a cable for that, albeit for much less less. I think we have to remember that not everyone is willing to change software in there truck!

What can hurt to just simply have more options? I say go for it.
I disabled mine with a jumper wire after 6 months because with the AC on down here in the Texas heat the truck never shut off long enough to save any gas. I’m interested to see how you like it after you get it installed.
