I've had switchbacks installed in my '17 XLT for several years and they worked find. This summer, out of nowhere the passenger side started to not switch to amber with the turn signal and when I'm locking the vehicle. Also, it goes straight to white halo when I unlock the vehicle. After a few weeks it started working normally every now and then but mostly it doesn't work properly. Please Help....thanks!

Any idea what is going on?

 

Could be a loose connection. Maybe some water intrusion. Will probably require taking them apart to check for loose connection on the control board. Before you do that just double check all the wiring connections, take them apart, clean them with electronics contact cleaner and pop them back together nice and tight.
