Anyone riding out the 5.0 oil consumption?

For what it is worth - I have a 2019 5.0 that has 3500 miles on it now. I changed the oil at 860 miles to full synthetic - NO oil lost for the first 860 miles. Just checked it again - NO oil loss for the past few thousand miles and oil is clean. It runs smooth as silk and sometimes I think the auto cut off has kicked in but it hasn't. The 10 speed is smooth as silk too. I do get a bit of a whine sound from the transmission at low speeds in the bottom 3 gears but this is normal. Power is increasing as I get more miles on it. I always use 93 octane and I was concerned it felt slower than my 2015 5.0 6spd auto - that thought has passed now - it feels about the same or a bit better (same gears). Gas mileage is improving as well. I was seeing mid 20's MPG not towing this weekend and my combined towing/not towing mileage is increasing as well - I am now in the low 14MPGs

Uh....yes they will. 4,400 miles, in the shop trying to get engine #3 approved and in the middle of a lawsuit with FoMoCo over my truck. Ask me how I know.

Chevrolet —> Chevro Lay. Obama bail out —> Obama Lay.
Despite:
”On December 19, George W. Bush announced that he had approved the bailout plan, which would give loans of $17.4 billion to U.S. automakers GM and Chrysler, stating that under present economic conditions, "allowing the U.S. auto industry to collapse is not a responsible course of action." Bush provided $13.4 billion now, with another $4 billion available in February 2009. Funds would be made available from the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. General Motors would get $9.4 billion, and Chrysler $4 billion.”
It’s a stretch. Some people…

I recently purchased a 2019 F-150 with the 5.0. Within the first thousand miles I noticed my truck burned 2 quarts of oil. Ive read a lot about the 5.0 oil consumption issues, and from what I understand not a whole lot seems to be fixing the issue not even the new long block. I’ve also seen reports of people riding out the first several thousand miles and it actually getting better. My question is has anyone actually waited it out and just fed their truck oil to see what happens down the road? I’m not entirely sure I want them tearing my truck to pieces to put in an engine that’s going to do the same exact thing. I’m thinking about waiting until I hear about a permanent fix.

I'm riding it out, just gonna keep driving the truck hard to help seat the rings. I wouldn't be surprised if the new engines from Ford are engines that they dyno'd for a long time to help seat the rings.
